We recently embarked on a large project, conducting a detailed topographical survey along the R150 road between Julianstown and Duleek, Co. Meath. This survey is part of a proposed active travel scheme aimed at enhancing connectivity and promoting sustainable transportation in the region.
This project consisted of surveying a 8.5 km road corridor between Julianstown to Duleek along the R150 road. This is a fast moving road with a speed limit of 100 km/h in places. Using mobile mapping was the quickest and safest option to get the survey done to the same accuracy as normal surveying methods.
As part of the survey we also survey we also installed a survey control network for future use during the design and construction phase.
